Hillsboro Pines Golf Club
is proud to introduce our new Golf Course
Superintendent, Steve Adams.
Steve
comes
to us from his most recent position at the Old
Course at Broken Sound Club in Boca Raton,
Florida. As a Class "A" GCSAA (Golf Course
Superintendents Association of America) member,
Steve has successful experience with high
profile course management. He recognizes
that course appearance, as well as
technical quality, contribute to the success and prestige
of the course.
Some of Steve's most
recent accomplishments include:
-
Preparation of Broken Sound course for the
PGA Champions Tour.
-
Preparation of Kings Point course for the Komen
Cancer Charity Event.
-
Maintenance of "Sports Park"
Golf in Illinois
- rated as one of the top 100 golf ranges
in the US.
-
Completed a "no till" greens renovation to
Champion ultradwarf greens.
"I've
been an avid golfer for over
20 years, and I enjoy golf
grounds management as much as playing the game
of golf," says Steve. "I have a keen
eye for detail, and find the excellent presentation
of the golf course grounds on a
daily basis to be a fulfilling
challenge."
Steve
is
always interested in hearing directly from our golfers,
so we encourage you to send him praise,
comments, or criticism at: s.adams@HillsboroPinesGolfClub.com
